Transitioning out of a turbulent twelve year relationship with ballet dancing, Yasmine started her affair with yoga the minute her first teacher told her exactly what she needed to hear most: that she was exactly where she needed to be, not just on the mat, but in life. Seduced by this empowering message of respect for the body and love for the divine self, she continued to practice with a range of inspiring teachers, deepening her study with books such as that by TKV Desikachar. Certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), she works as a personal trainer by appointment and teaches weekly yoga asana classes.
