At the root of a healthy body is a body free of toxicities. Heavy metals, environmental elements, and other impurities can build up in our bodies, bringing us down. Just like the dirt and grim on our skins, we want to cleanse and purify our inner bodies too. This leads to more stable energy, increased vitality, and a better looking, healthier body.
This usually difficult (and sometimes confusing) process of detoxing is made easy by LL Magnetic Clay. Take their Edible Earth formula for example. There couldn’t be a simpler, more straightforward way to cleanse and revitalize your body.
Edible Earth by LL Magnetic Clay
Edible Earth contains just two ingredients: natural calcium bentonite and montmorillonite clays. While the names may be difficult to pronounce at first, they are all you need for a full revitalization of your digestive tract. The blend also supplies your body with 57 bioavailable ionic minerals, which are quickly absorbed by the body and put to use repairing and maintaining your cells. These help cleanse, detoxify, and regulate the balance of your body.
But let’s delve a bit deeper into Edible Earth.
For 10 days, I tried Edible Earth each morning. I have never subscribed to a detox regimen before, nor did I know where to start. As a sort of a detox-noobie, I hope my experience with the product speaks to its utility, as well as its ease of incorporation into any diet or lifestyle.
The History
When first getting the bottle of Edible Earth, I was intrigued with the history of clays. I know detoxing options can come in teas, pills, and a whole other assortments of things, but clay seemed unique from the get go. It’s use, however, is one of long-time precedence.
Known as geophagia, the practice of consuming clay and earth for its mineral content has long been observed in native peoples and animals in all parts of the world. In many non-western cultures, consuming clay is accepted (and indeed embraced) when pursuing health and longevity. African tribesmen consumed it before making great journeys to war, and women in villages throughout Africa, India, and rural North America consumed clay ritualistically during pregnancy (many still do, too). Primitive tribes even used to dip their food in a clay and water mixture to keep a strong stomach. Bon appétit!
The Taste
So how does it taste? To be honest, I was at first concerned with adding clay into my mixture of morning juice or water. Thoughts of chalky, dirty flavor clouded my mind. To my pleasant surprise, though, the taste was actually quite good. Not overwhelming, nor of any particular sharp taste or flavor profile.
In water, Edible Earth only has a light addition of taste, and just a bit of a ‘gritty’ feeling. The color becomes a bit like chocolate milk, too. In juice, depending on your blend, you can barely taste anything, and if you’re drinking pulp, you won’t notice it at all. From everything I tried, I would recommend orange juice. Just remember to keep it stirred well!
The Experience
At the start of the detox, I was curious about the effects of the Edible Earth. I wasn’t too sure what to expect. But, after about 3-4 days of using the powder each morning, I noticed two main things: first, I rose each morning with much more energy, even if I hadn’t slept a full 8 hours. I felt in control of my body, with the ability to move about and get started in my day.
Secondly, I noticed a change in my skin tone and feel. Not only do I think my skin became softer, but it also appears – what I can only describe as – purer or fresher. Like the difference between matte and glossy paper, my skin seemed to clear up and become more natural looking in the process.
I decided to hop off the detox for a weekend, though, to see how I’d feel without the powder. I didn’t notice any immediate drop in energy or vitality, but by Monday morning, I feel as if I was sinking back into my previous, now comparably dreary state. This was likely due to not taking Edible Earth, as well as consuming less water overall. Let’s just say I’ve begun adding it back in my juice each morning!
(Oh, and as I’m sure some people are curious about, I noticed no change in bowel movements.)
My Suggestion: Try out Edible Earth by LL Magnetic Clay
Now on my own daily regimen, I’ve already begun suggesting Edible Earth to my family and friends. With about a year’s worth of servings in one jar, the price you pay is well worth it. It’ll keep your body well maintained, provide you with more energy, increase clarity, and keep your insides nice and clean. To me, the first detox product I’ve ever really tried will likely be my last. It’s simple, not a cumbersome task to prepare each morning, and works excellently.
