Healthy Essentials the Organic Way: A Review of K Pour Karite

For the last five or six years now, I’ve been “wearing” long hair. It seemed like with every inch that it grew, I discovered more and more about why hair health is so essential (not to mention how difficult it can be to manage). Simply put, there are tons of products out there that just don’t work – and you can tell right away. This has led me on a journey of discovery for the best in hair care.

For example, their “All Over” shampoo/body wash was one of my favorite combinations – it brought out something of a minty smell as it lathered up (and lather up it did!), but without an overbearing aroma.  It also left the skin and hair feeling hydrated and smooth – not depleted and dry. That, with a follow up of the repairing conditioner, left me feeling fresh and ready to take on the day.

The Shea Butter Serum was also a nice addition. Though I haven’t used many products like this before, I could really feel it hydrating and protecting my hair. It gave my hair a wet, freshly showered look without leaving it too greasy or clumped together. Plus, like the all over wash, it carried a natural scent that wasn’t too powerful. While some people really enjoy strong aromas, it was refreshing to get a product that didn’t aim to overpower all other scents.

Finally, one of the most interesting products I tested was the Hair Scrub. With exfoliating silica balls and a shot of peppermint, this hair care supplement really adds something to your regular routine. I’ve noticed a great boost in my scalp health and general hair cleanliness, and I think the scrub has been contributing to that greatly.
