Life in Haiti is far from the familiar life in the United States. Let’s each open our eyes and see the world through the life of a Haitian. Incredibly, this exist just some 700 miles off our coast. That makes Haiti about twice as close to Florida than Texas.

Thank you for raising awareness about Haiti! One thing that struck me as familiar (from visiting there) was all of the smoke in and around Port-au-Prince and how red people’s eyes often were.
