If you follow the daily videos on Organic Soul, you know I’m a sucker for space exploration and all the fascinating phenomenon “out there.” Here’s a pretty awesome video of Perseids meteors as they burst into the morning sky.
Text from the video:

August 13th, 2010
Shot on Canon EOS 7D
EF-S18-135mm Zoom Lens 3.5
2 miles deep in La Jolla Canyon, near Malibu, CA
Footage for upcoming shorts collection DEVOLUTION II: Reckoning.
Didn’t get a tonne of meteors, but a great sky and a terrific morning.
Lens fogs up at 0:52. Anyone got an in-field solution for that problem?
Special thanks to Hikemaster, Camera Assistant and Sommelier Michael Darrow.

I find these vidz on here to be creepy. I would love to find some more encouraging and creative video? Instead I see them as strange and weird. They leave me feeling lost instead of hopeful or inspired.

I’m sorry you feel that way, Heidi. All our videos are chosen because of the artistic skill and eclectic nature of the film makers. Then again, this video doesn’t have the most inspirational soundtrack, so I understand. I suggest you try something like these. Just try to remain open minded to inspiration you might not usually notice.

A bit more cheery. We have hundreds, though, so I suggest exploring them all.
