“Sodom and Gomorrah” visually captures the world of e-waste. Unknown to many Americans, tons of electronic waste is shipped overseas to “processing plants” and recyclers. Unfortunately, portions of this waste make their way into black markets and slums, where the processing is done by young children in extremely volatile conditions. Many are forced to inhale lead, cadmium, dioxins, furans, phthalates and brominated flame retardants, daily.
