Sleep is one of the most important things we do in life, next to eating and drinking. Without a doubt, a good eight hours will get you feeling better, over your troubles, and excited about the day. Sleep is, of course, no miracle cure. But if you have ever worked through a day with only a little sleep – which most, if not all, of us have – you know you can feel worthless without enough rest.
For me, I ensure a good night’s sleep through three methods: eat a good dinner, exercise during the day, and listen/play to my favorite music. This helps me relax, unwind, and get ready for a nice night of sleep.
What about you? How do you get ready for bed?

Thompson Calm & Relaxed is a great drink before bed. It has magnesium, hops, chamomile, L-Theanine and more relaxing herbs. Wonderful stuff.

Top Tips:
Don’t eat too late – protein takes hours to digest so eat before 8 pm. The digestive tract doesn’t need extra work when its meant to be sleeping1
essential oil bath helps with lavender and chamomile but most importantly….
Keep hydrated during the day so your cells have correct cellular exchange – calcium & sodium during the day and magnesium and potassium at night. If Calcium and sodium are left in the cells you become acidic and wake up lethargic. Read: Cellular Awakening by Barbara Wren!

Take magnesium to relax muscles and induce sleep. Avoid eating late to eliminate reflux.
Say prayers in my mind until sleep overtakes me. That helps to keep the mind thinking about all the events of the day. But sometimes…late night ‘discussions’ with kids or wife can set my mind racing and heart pumping so sleep is delayed…
Also ‘pop’ my ears as it seems to induce sleep, as I have noticed in the morning I have to clear my ears which wakes me up quickly.

I was recommended a product called Stem Cell Worx Intraoral Spray by a friend. Its incredible. I sleep so soundly now and wake up feeling fully recharged. It certainly has helped me no end. I’m so much better to live with.
