What is the one thing you should be doing to better your health?

Everyone has (at least) that one thing they do that is physically and/or mentally destructive. What is it for you and how do you plan on stopping it? Personally,  I have a nasty reputation for staying up too late and not getting enough sleep. Being a health-aficionado, I should know better, yet I continuously find myself awake at 2 a.m. with an alarm set for 8.

I’m planning to drink calming teas and meditate a bit around 11pm so help create an environment conducive to sleep.

So what about you?

  1. The one thing I need to completely rid my diet of….diet soda. I don’t have it everyday, but I crave it everyday. It’s a habit that started back in my teens. It was an effort to reduce the amount of sugar in my diet. I went from Sweet-n-Low in my coffee to Tab soda with my take out chinese. I’ve lost a lot of my bad eating habits. I eat as much organics as my budget and backyard garden allow. I follow a whole,unprocessed diet. But when that Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi 16 oz is sitting there, chilled, EVERYWHERE I go, temptation often wins. I’m working at avoiding this. I make homemade organic teas, I drink filtered water,organic O.J. & 1% milk. But the call of the diet is always upon me.
